Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Carpenter role located in Canistota, SD. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including constructing, installing, repairing, and finishing structures and frameworks, reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and marking cutting lines, and assembling materials using tools and equipment. Ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity on-site is integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in willing to learn and work safely.
- Skillful use of Power Tools and Hand Tools
- Experience with construction helps.
- Understanding of construction safety guidelines and practices
- Physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or relevant experience is a plus
