Laundry Attendant-Evenings

Job Purpose:
- The Laundry Attendant-Evenings at Northern Michigan Escapes LLC is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and timely delivery of linens across various properties. This role involves evening shifts, with a focus on maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency in linen management and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate during the evening shift from 2-10 pm, ensuring all tasks are completed within the designated time frame.
- Collect linens from designated properties including EWI, PNI, and WSI, ensuring proper handling and transportation.
- Transport collected linens to Boyne for washing, maintaining cleanliness and order during the process.
- Wash, dry, and fold linens according to company standards, ensuring all items are clean and presentable.
- Return cleaned linens to the correct properties each night, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring all equipment is used safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations and address any issues promptly.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a hospitality environment is preferred.
- Experience with operating laundry equipment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with safe driving practices and a valid driver's license.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in driving and navigating between multiple locations.
- Strong organizational skills to manage linen inventory and ensure timely delivery.
- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and proper handling of linens.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during evening hours.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with different properties and team members.
