Creative Services Lead
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
DESIGN:
- Critique and provide direction to internal copywriters, photographers and graphic designers in the design of original, artistic and campaign-based content for use across physical and digital media
- Follow established guidelines to ensure visual continuity of brand assets across platforms
- Create fresh and innovative content that enhances the stand-out product designs NL is known in the market for
- Work with Sales to design effective and visually appealing solutions for selling tools
- Ensure projects are delivered within requested budget, timeline and design limitations.
- Lead and plan on and off-site photoshoots with regard to scheduling, prop procurement, budget and design direction.
- Other duties as assigned
CONTENT MANAGEMENT:
- Work alongside Legal and IT to ensure content being published is compliant. Ensure compliant management of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) on email platforms.
- Work alongside internal departments in the tracking, publishing and continuity of product information across internal and external platforms.
- Develop engaging and on-brand selling features and copy for upcoming launches with product information provided by the Product Development teams and marketing insight.
- Oversee department-related project management software is utilized to track progress, milestones, and deadlines, ensuring the most up-to-date information is clearly communicated to internal stakeholders.
- Anticipate and coordinate refresh and reconfigure of company websites home and product pages.
- Other duties as assigned
STRATEGY & MANAGEMENT
- Research and report on competitor’s visual communication strategies and market trends
- Assign each task among Graphic Designers using project management software to ensure project details and timelines are met
- Establish project scope and priority of assigned tasks/projects among graphic designers
- Communicate with print vendors to deliver print-ready assets and the oversee production and quality of print materials
- Manage the organization and fulfillment of photography requests for the Sample image database, ARC and D365
- Manage scheduling of the photo studio
- Train team members on proper digital content access, organization and usage.
- Grow a team of creatives and perpetuate an environment of artistic growth within a collaborative environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BFA or equivalent experience required; 5 Years Experience in Art Direction, Graphic Design or related field.
- Management experience a plus
- Excellent computer skills using email, Microsoft Office, project management software and virtual communication platforms
- Demonstrated competency in Adobe CC Suite
- Proficiency using a DSLR camera with editing skills; Photo-staging skills required.
- Visual Merchandising experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and proofreading
- Must have high color sensitivity
- Must be creative, detail oriented, and highly organized with a problem solver mindset
- Must be a tenacious question asker who does not wait for information
- Professional, career oriented and self-motivated
- Experience in the print production process
- Willingness to attend company functions, tradeshows and events as needed including occasional weekends & travel opportunities
Strong portfolio demonstrating knowledge of composition, layout, typography and branding - Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to stand and remain on feet for extended periods of time during occasional photo shoots and tradeshow set-ups.
**This is an office hourly ($22.03 - $25.33) Hybrid position located in Wellsville, NY**
