Summary :
The Guest Relations Specialist I assumes a critical role at AR Gould as the first point of contact with patients, visitors, and family within the organization. They are responsible for assisting visitors, patients, and families with wayfinding, problem solving, and connecting with the correct people within our complex organization. The Guest Relations Specialist I must be friendly and be able to deal with a variety of customer personalities in a positive, kind, and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the flow of outpatients, business contacts and visitors though the facility.
- Assists with performance improvement activities including daily tracking
- Assists with orientation of new staff to department area, tasks, and responsibilities as well as any volunteers placed in the department.
- Assists the Guest Relations Manager with clerical duties as needed.
- Assists other departments as able with clerical tasks, some of which may involve scanning and use of the medical records. All such tasks must be approved by manager
- Assist the Emergency department with ED callbacks as able
- Other duties as assigned
