Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Home Health
Community Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of home care professionals. This position is available part-time and possibly PRN depending on applicant availability.
Areas of coverage include Berrien, Van Buren, and Cass counties.
Physical Therapy Assistants are responsible for administering therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing physician-ordered physical therapy
- Returning the individual to optimum functional levels within the patient's capabilities
- Participating with other health care personnel within the interdisciplinary team
- Actively participate in patient care planning and treatment
- Consulting with and writing reports to physicians regarding any patient changes, as well as overall progress
- Instructing patients and family/significant others in home programs and activities of daily living
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $35 - $45 per visit
