Responsibilities:
- Provide preventive dental care, including prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planning, and fluoride applications.
- Take and develop dental radiographs and assist the Dentist as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, dental health, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and manage patient recall systems.
- Sterilize instruments and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Participate in community outreach and health education initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Licensed to practice Dental Hygiene in the State of Vermont.
- CPR/BLS certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients of all ages.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
