Consumer Loan Officer $18-$23/hour plus incentives - Bilingual Spanish Speaking Required

This role is all about assisting our Members with their lending needs while making sure they understand all the great products and services we offer. You’ll also help with deposit products and work towards meeting product organizational goals—all while contributing to a fun and positive work environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Talking with Members to understand their loan needs, financial situation, and credit history.
- Reviewing consumer credit reports like a pro.
- Processing consumer loans - credit cards, personal loans, auto, home equity/HELOC
- Making sure all loan documents are complete and accurate.
- Helping with loan maintenance tasks, including file updates and collateral perfection.
- Keeping an eye on troubled loans and working with collections when needed.
- Participating in sales development activities to help Members find the right products.
- Staying up to date on loan rates, deposit rates, and consumer credit trends.
- Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Providing top-notch service to Members and teammates.

- You provide friendly, accurate service to Members in a timely manner.
- You respond to messages and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- You meet or exceed your cross-sell goals for ancillary products.
- You handle Member and internal inquiries efficiently and with a positive attitude.
- All loans are properly documented and recorded according to our standards.
What You Bring to the Table:
✅ Experience: At least 6-12 months previous lending experience is preferred.
✅ Education: A high school diploma or GED.
✅ People Skills: You love talking to people, forming relationships, and helping others. You communicate well and know how to be both professional and friendly.
✅ Team Player Attitude: You work well with teammates, other departments, and external partners.
✅ Attention to Detail: You keep things organized and confidential.
✅ Growth Mindset: You love learning and are always up for a new challenge.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- You’ll spend a lot of time on the computer.
- Office environment with a quiet noise level.
- You may need to stand, walk, or sit for long periods.
- Occasional light lifting (up to 15 lbs).
