Full Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven Commercial Loan Officer to join our financial services team. The Commercial Loan Officer is a customer-facing position within the financial institution. Commercial Loan Officers are expected to manage a loan portfolio while developing new and existing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, evaluate, and underwrite credit applications
- Prepare documents and packages for customers
- Consult with customers to understand their product needs and offer products that align with their financial goals
- Conduct thorough financial assessments
- Present loan requests to the Loan Committee on a regular basis
- Verify complete, accurate, and compliant loan files
- Maintain positive customer relationships and provide timely communication
- Work professionally with all departments
- Adhere to all Bank and Regulatory requirements and trainings
- Perform other duties as assigned as time allows
Skills & Knowledge:
- Three years of previous lending experience preferred
- Ability to perform proficient credit analysis
- High School diploma or greater
- Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of various loan products
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
