Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- 5 years’ experience of quality assurance and testing as well as developing automation frameworks and automated tests
- 3 years programming experience in JavaScript, Node JS, Java
- 2 years’ experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience with back end services automated testing using frameworks such as such as REST Assured and Karate
- Experience with back end services automated testing tools such as REST Assured and Supertest
- Experience with application life cycle management tools. Atlassian Jira preferred
- Hands-on experience in setting up continuous integration (CI) build environments
- using TeamCity, Gitlab or a comparable solution
- Hands on experience in source control with GIT
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like J-Unit and Test NG
- Familiarity with containerization software such as Docker
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Demonstrated experience designing and architecting scalable and resilient enterprise software
Roles & Responsibilities
- Participate in the application technical design process with the Application Architects on Internet and eCommerce related development projects.
- Test web services using SOAP UI or any Service testing tools
- Knowledge of concepts of Queue, Topic, JSON, XML
- Participate in all phases of web services system testing.
- Develop, implement and maintain quality and test procedures, processes and best practices for QA.
- Develop and maintain test plan and test cases with associated test data based upon functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify test automation opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of test services.
- Contribute to test automation scripting standards and best practices.
- Understand SOA Architecture.
- Write automation scripts and participate in peer reviews
