Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with pre-scheduled, pre-qualified prospective clients provided by the firm.
- Conduct consultations to assess financial goals, risk tolerance, and retirement planning needs.
- Develop and present customized financial plans aligned with client objectives.
- Recommend and implement fee-based AUM solutions and fixed-indexed annuities as core strategies.
- Close business by effectively communicating the firm's value and guiding clients through the decision-making process.
- Educate clients on investment strategies, tax-efficient income planning, and asset protection .
- Maintain and update client records, recommendations, and planning details within CRM and portfolio management systems .
- Collaborate with internal operations, compliance, and client services teams to ensure smooth account onboarding and management.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory updates, and industry best practices related to retirement planning.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, Wealth Manager, or similar client-facing financial services role.
- Proven track record of closing business in a high-volume, appointment-based sales environment.
- Licensing & Certifications:
- Must hold Series 65 or be willing to obtain it within a designated timeframe.
- Life and Health Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- CFP or other industry designations are a plus but not required.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Expertise in retirement income planning, investment management, and annuity strategies .
- Familiarity with fixed-indexed annuities, structured investments, and fee-based advisory platforms .
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear, persuasive, and client-friendly manner.
- Strong sales and closing skills , with a consultative, solution-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in financial planning software, CRM systems, and portfolio management tools .
Other Requirements:
- Highly coachable and willing to follow the firm's structured process.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a steady flow of client meetings.
- Must be able to work full-time, in-office at one of the firm's locations.
