ROLE OVERVIEW
The Commercial Water Heater Delivery Associate positively supports the Hot Water Xpress Program, including our commercial water heater replacement program, while promoting the Bradford White product line and other key vendor water heater solutions. This role represents the company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effective manner while delivering outstanding service to customers.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery & Order Fulfillment
- Deliver commercial water heaters as part of the Hot Water Xpress program via the most effective route
- Pick and pack orders for delivery; follow all special instructions pertaining to individual orders
- Use stair climber safely and efficiently during deliveries
- Schedule and remain on-call 24/7 for after-hour deliveries and opening the branch after hours
Inventory & Customer Transactions
- Monitor inventory levels on water heaters, associated parts, and truck stock
- Accurately process customer transactions including orders, quotes, and returns
- Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
- Fill requests for catalogs, product information, or samples promptly and accurately
Sales & Customer Service
- Increase sales and average order size through cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and promotional items
- Provide excellent customer service on every interaction — at delivery, by phone, and at the counter
- Proactively support all Northeastern Supply product lines with knowledgeable recommendations
Teamwork & Standards
- While not making deliveries, support the local branch in the warehouse — pulling orders, receiving, and related tasks
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety initiatives
- Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth in the Employee Handbook
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–3 years of delivery and customer service experience preferred
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver up to 1,000 lbs. safely and with equipment
- Willingness to learn about water heaters and parts; knowledgeable support of NE product lines
- Good written and oral communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Results-oriented and willing to be accountable for performance
- Ability to work effectively with a team of diverse individuals

Salary : $20 - $22
