Commercial Water Heater Delivery Associate

Summary

Responsible for positively supporting the Hot Water Xpress Program, which includes our commercial water heater replacement program and promoting the Bradford White product line and other key vendor water heater solutions lines. Represents the company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effective manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivery of commercial water heaters as part of the Hot Water Xpress program
• Picking and packing orders for delivery

·   Monitor inventory levels on water heaters and associated parts and truck stock         

·   Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns                                                             

·   Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items                                                                      

·    Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on

      sales and offering promotional sale items

·    Provide excellent customer service

·    Fill requests for catalogs, information or samples                                                                                                         

·    Scheduled on call 24/7 for after-hour deliveries and opening the branch after hours.                                                                                                                               

• Use stair climber safely
• While not making deliveries, help local branch in the warehouse, pulling orders, receiving, etc.
• Adhere to the rules and regulations as set forth in the Employee Handbook
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of delivery and customer service work experience preferred
• Strong customer service and/or problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with a team of diverse individuals
• Results oriented and willing to be accountable for results
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Able to lift 75 pounds and maneuver up to 1000 pounds safely and with equipment
• Knowledgeable and proactively support all the product lines NE offers.
• Willingness to learn about water heaters and parts

Salary : $20 - $22
