Job Title: Mitsubishi Electric Specialist
Reports To: HVAC Brand/Product Manager
Location: Home Office – Golden Ring, MD
Pay Range: $68,000 to $85,000
Summary
The Mitsubishi Electric Specialist role creates and supports Business Development Programs, brand and sales development, inventory planning, product launches, external/internal trainings, sales/inventory reports. Responds to market trends and patterns to increase Mitsubishi Electric sales and market share within the authorized Northeastern Supply footprint.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Creates a strategic plan using processes to include business development, sales
growth, marketing and training for Ductless Pros (DPs), in coordination with
Northeastern Supply HVAC Leadership
- Conducts product and program presentations to recruit, retain, and develop
contractors in assigned territory that include (but are not limited to) the following:
o M&P Applications and Product Update Training
o Product Selection Software (DSB)
o Third Party Programs (JB Warranty, Marbl, Synchrony, etc.)
o Contractor Marketing best practices training
o Completes six Contractor Development classroom presentations for the above by December 31st each year
- Joins with the Northeastern Supply TMs and Mitsubishi sales team to complete a
yearly planning and sales review with all Elite & Preferred Ductless Pros and
75% of all Ductless Pro contractors by Feb 28th of each year
- Works with the Northeastern Supply TMs and Mitsubishi sales team to educate
contractors on the proper use of CO-OP and seek to have 50% of DPs spend CO-
OP money on focused lead-generating activities or company promotion assets
(websites/truck wraps/etc.)
- Assists TMs and the Mitsubishi marketing team in scheduling and completing DP
marketing consults (in person or virtual) as needed
- Develops, implements and monitors local Spring and Fall advertising campaigns
with the Preferred and Elite DPs in conjunction with Northeastern Supply TMs
and Mitsubishi sales team
- Coordinates with the Mitsubishi team to schedule and support third party
business development classes (BDR, Dominate Ductless, sales training, etc.)
- Assists in the integration of Mitsubishi representation to the spring Northeastern
Supply dealer meeting, branch open houses and any other appropriate customer-
facing events
- Identifies and documents DP’s contractor targets with Northeastern TMs and
Mitsubishi sales team to support recruitment initiatives
- Works with the service team to schedule appropriate M&P classes to support
contractor development
- Provides Ductless Pro quarterly cost of goods sold report to the Mitsubishi sales
team
- Achieves a yearly, incremental branch growth goal for M&P products
- Supports and drives branch development training including (but not limited to):
o Distributor Portal
o Product Selection software (DSB)
o E-Learning through the use of the Mitsubishi LMS
o M&P Applications and Product Updates
- Supports branch merchandising program for identified target branches
- Designs and promotes branch events focused on M&P products leveraging all
Mitsubishi assets
- Develops and leverages incentive programs to promote sales growth at the branch
level
- Provides branch quarterly cost of goods sold report to the Mitsubishi sales team
- Supports Northeastern Supply Sales team by jointly meeting with all existing
DP’s yearly for continued development
- Completes and reviews the DP “Balanced performance Scorecard” action plan
with 100T of the Preferred and Elite DPs in coordination with Northeastern
Supply TMs
- Assists Sales team with action plan follow up and completion by December 31 of
each year
- In coordination with the Northeastern Supply commercial and outside sales team,
assists with identification, tracking, monitoring and closing of Mitsubishi
commercial opportunities
- Works with the Mitsubishi sales team to host a yearly TM training session which
includes Programs, Tools, Marketing and Product Updates
- Works with Northeastern Supply Purchasing Manager and Product/Brand
Manager to review inventory, forecast and create/refine branch minimums
- Provides Northeastern Supply HVAC leadership with monthly Inventory Status
report (report to be developed)
- Actively provides DSB support to TMs and contractors, as needed
- Writes quotes and orders for both Commercial and Residential products when
needed based on business demands
- Promotes Utility/Manufacturer Rebate programs
- Adheres to the rules and regulations as set forth in the Employee Handbook
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred
- Three to five years of relevant industry experience
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Sales driven with the ability to analyze trends in the market
- Ability to multi-task and exhibit strong organizational skills
- Team-oriented, but must be able to work independently
- Excel knowledge preferred
- Motivated for career growth along with increasing the company’s commercial
HVAC footprint
- Must be willing to travel 25 to 50% of the work week within the Northeastern
Supply territory
- Must be able to attend meetings at the corporate headquarters two to four times a
month

Salary : $68,000 - $85,000
