Position Summary
The Adjunct Instructor of Economics is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction at the undergraduate level and will teach economics courses at the principles level. Adjunct faculty reports to the Department Chair and performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the college.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate instruction in Principles level Economics
- Develop and implement course content aligned with established curriculum, student learning outcomes, and assurance of learning (AoL) standards
- Assess and evaluate student performance in a timely and constructive manner
- Maintain accurate academic records in compliance with university policies and procedures
- Support institutional initiatives related to student success, retention, and academic quality
- Participate, as appropriate, in program-level assessment and continuous improvement efforts consistent with college expectations
- Maintain regular and meaningful communication with students and department leadership
- Possesses at least a master's degree in the field specified in the position announcement
- Possesses excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Master's degree in economics is minimally required for this position but candidates possessing a Ph.D. will be given preference
- Candidates that have a master's degree with significant professional or academic experience will be given preference
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via electronic platforms
- Ability to perform essential instructional functions in classroom and/or online environments
