What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radilology Receptionist - PRN position at NORTHEASTERN HEALTH SYSTEM?
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety standards.
Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes correspondence and other material to department staff.
Performs light typing; operates related office equipment in fulfilling work assignments.
Establishes and maintains files and records on an ongoing basis.
Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
Enters data on records manually or through data entry.
Maintains records of examination data and other pertinent information on patients.
Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
Attends meetings as required.
Functions as liaison between physicians and technologists and area support staff. Establishes and maintains communication within the department and with other hospital departments.
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
Inventories and orders all office supplies regularly.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Education - High School or equivalent
Preferred Education - One year work experience in health field
Preferred Experience - Previous clerical experience
