Duties
- Efficiently pick orders using RF scanners and order picker equipment to meet daily targets
- Safely operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment to load and unload materials
- Pack items securely according to specifications, ensuring product integrity during transit
- Load and unload shipments accurately while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Maintain organized storage using warehouse management systems and proper pallet stacking techniques
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying inventory accuracy and documenting movements
- Support warehouse operations by performing heavy lifting tasks and materials handling with mechanical knowledge
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or related construction environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with order picking, shipping & receiving procedures, and heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or clamp trucks
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices in warehouse safety protocols
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and other mechanical tools
- Warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills are a plus but not required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
