Position: Case Aide, CUA 1

Job Type/Hours: FT, 40hrs. per week, M-F Schedule is based on the program and client needs.

Location: 2701 N Broad Street Philadelphia, PA 19132 (25th Police District) Feltonville, Hunting Park, Upper Kensington, McGuire, Fairhill, Hartranft and Franklinville

 

Summary of Position:

Work as part of the CUA Support Team at the direction of the CUA CM and Supervisor toward achieving the objectives as established in the SCP. Provide home, school, and community visits, and assist in accessing resources. Supervise visits when necessary and with the knowledge of what is appropriate supervision. The ability to intervene if children and youth are at risk, and to report relevant details about the interactions. Assist with transport of the family to Court, Conferences, and other essential appointments. Provide home-maker training services. Participate in Family Team Conferences when necessary. Attend Court Hearings as needed but never in lieu of the CUA CM. Document in the appropriate section of ECMS any activity they have performed within six business days.

 


Minimum Qualification:

 

  • Must have a minimum of a High school diploma or Ged
  • Two years of experience involving youth and families preferred
  • Knowledge of child and family service systems
  • Valid Drivers License (issued by state in which employee lives)
  • Adult and Pediatric CPR Certification Required
  • PA Child Abuse Clearance required
  • PA Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training Required
  • FBI Clearance required
  • PA Criminal Clearance required
  • Health Assessment required
  • TB Test required
