Position Description:
NTS is seeking an Environmental Engineer with strengths in hydrogeology or hydrogeochemistry, or a Hydrogeologist.
Primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Groundwater modeling, groundwater quality assessments, and contaminant transport for projects related to contaminated sites;
- Environmental permit management, regulatory analysis and compliance;
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients and NTS staff; and
- Support the NTS safety program through safe work practices, policy adherence and hazard reporting, and wearing appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering with strengths in hydrogeology and hydrogeochemistry
- Familiarity with permitting, environmental compliance, and water resource investigation
- Knowledge of Federal and State regulatory guidelines
- Must be highly detail-oriented
- Strong desire for continued learning and professional growth
- Willingness to work outdoors in all types of conditions
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation & Schedule:
Position Type: Full-time
Compensation: Starting at $110,000 per year, based on experience and education. Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
