What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Truck Driver Trainer position at Northeast Technical Institute?
Over the course of your driving career, you'll log hundreds of thousands of miles.
The routes will blend together. The deliveries will come and go.
But you'll never forget the student whose career began because you took the time to teach them.
Northeast Technical Institute is looking for CDL instructors to help train the next generation of professional drivers. If you've ever enjoyed showing a new driver the ropes, coaching a teammate, or sharing the lessons you've learned on the road, teaching could be a rewarding next step.
You don't need prior teaching experience—just a strong driving background, professionalism, and a desire to help others succeed.
We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing you to continue using your experience while spending more time at home.
Help us build the future of the trucking industry—one driver at a time.
** License must be free and clear from most infractions for at least the past six years to qualify.
***All CDL-licensed instructors are required to follow the regulations set forth by the DOT and FMCSA, including passing a pre-employment drug screen, a DOT physical, and registering for the Clearinghouse in order to give consent to pre-employment queries.
