Job Duties
- Deliver field-specific lab training content to a diverse audience.
- Occasionally serve as an SME for advanced development work of programs.
- Drive improvement in process effectiveness and efficiency.
- Adhere to RCAM schedule and inclement weather policies, which may differ from other NESCC schedules and/or closures.
- Complete other assignments as directed by supervision.
Industrial Operations Lab Assistant:
- Craft qualified at the journey level of any instructional material being delivered
- Experience in an industrial setting or other qualifying experience as approved by supervision
- Experience at a minimum journey or technician level in their area of expertise
- Experience in an industrial setting or other qualifying experience as approved by supervision
- Experience at a minimum journey or technician level in their area of expertise
- OR a minimum of three years’ experience as a certified teacher in a vocational/technical construction or maintenance-related training program
- Expertise in the field
- Previous teaching experience in skilled trades
- Apprenticeship Graduate
- Associate Degree
- Conversational ability or fluency in a second language
- Technology Skills: MS Office skills, Word, Excel, Outlook; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems
- Capable of learning new technology and applying the new technology in the lab environment
- Ability to self-direct and make sound decisions independently.
