Summary
Northeast Prestressed Products is seeking applicants for part-time Accounts Payable/Job Costing Administrator position. This position is responsible to carry out and complete tasks assigned to them by the Controller. Duties
Accounts Payable/Job Costing Administrators are supervised by the Accounting Department. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Work is performed primarily in an office environment.

Duties
- General Accounts Payable duties
- Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence
- Responsible for managing month-end and year-end cut off processes.
- Troubleshoot day to day accounts payable and job costing issues.
- Enter job costing material and labor usage and prepare internal reporting
- Provide reports as required by the finance/accounting department including job costing and labor usage reports
- Comply with safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Ability to use Microsoft excel including data management and pivot tables
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Prior office experience required.
- Accounting experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite specifically Microsoft Excel.
