Project Engineer I Summary: The main responsibility of the Project Engineer I is to support the production and erection effort by coordinating the design of a project and addressing any technical questions about the project with moderate supervision. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a Project Manager to ensure the effective execution of a project - Team up with Assistant Project Engineers on projects - Review construction drawings and understand precast scope of work - Read and interpret specifications - Create and maintain precast design schedule and track projects through production and erection - Attend, participate in, and facilitate internal and external project meetings - Work with precast engineers through design, answering questions and providing guidance according to NEP standards and best practices - Draft and submit RFI’s and submittals to clients - Review precast erection drawings for conformance with contract drawings, specifications, and NEP standards - File and maintain documents for record on the company network - Review drawings from other trades for coordination with precast work - Support the project erection team with repairs by working with precast engineers to design field repairs - Ensure the project hits deadlines Experience Required: - 1 to 3 Years Compensation: $63,000 - $75,000 Annually More about Northeast Precast: NEP is a precast concrete manufacturer of commercial products and foundation wall systems.
