Billing Office Coordinator

Location: 57 Regional Drive, Concord, NH

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday

SUMMARY: The Billing Office Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Business Office Supervisors and Manager with day-to-day coverage and support of assigned functions of the Business Office. Works as a member of the Business Office team to reach departmental goals and objectives. Maintains positive relationships with patients, family members, providers, and fellow employees.

Job Duties

• Charge entry of service provided by Concord Orthopaedics providers including CPT and ICD-10 code review, billing modifiers, payment entry, and account error correction.
• Accounts receivable follow-up on unpaid claims, explanation of benefits review, denied claims processing, and appeals.
• Cross-cover other areas of the Business Office as directed by the Business Office Supervisor and/or Manager.
• Participate in creating and maintaining a positive, high-quality work environment.
• Build collaborative relationships with peers and employees across organizational lines.
• Other duties as assigned to meet the business needs of Concord Orthopedics.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, associate’s degree preferred.
• Medical billing & coding certification preferred.
• Previous orthopaedics claims processing and coding experience desired.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude with the ability to be flexible and adaptive.
• Proven ability to problem solve with conflict resolution.
• Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast paced and stressful situations.
  
  

Physical Requirements

This position requires minimal reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting. The position also requires moderate to extensive keyboarding, moderate walking, and frequent sitting
