Duties:
The Dental Mobile Unit is designed to address the oral health needs of children in the East Cleveland School System. The dental mobile unit also serves to provide dental access to other populations as determined by Northeast Ohio Neighborhood Health Services, Inc. The Dental Mobile Unit Driver manages the unit and assists in its operation, including patient registration and business office responsibilities.

The Dental Mobile Unit Driver manages the unit and assists in its operation, including patient registration and business office responsibilities.
Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 22 years of age. Must have a valid Class B CDL driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum 3 years driving experience. Good driving record [no more than one (1) moving convictions/accidents in the past three (3) years or no more than two (2) moving convictions/accidents in the past (5) years. (speeding, tailgating, improper passing, failure to yield, illegal turns, running red light/stop sign, are examples of moving violations), no license suspensions in the past ten years (suspensions for physicals, insurance lapses, failure to pay fine, and failure to appear are exempt under the ten year rule), and no driving convictions related to alcohol or illegal drugs. Knowledge of the Greater Cleveland area is required. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Public and/or community health interest or experience is essential. Strong oral and written communication skills. Good character and positive work history. Consent to annual background check and alcohol/drug screen. Pass a background check (MVR, Criminal, and Extended Employment Verification) annually. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and computer skills including, Microsoft Office suite competency. Fluency in Spanish/English is a strong asset. Comfort or experience working in a multi-cultural environment preferred. Knowledge of or interests in outreach programs or health care is helpful. Ability to adhere to NEON Hours of Operation.
