Your Impact
- Install Systems: Furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini‑splits, boilers, and related equipment.
- Ductwork: Install and modify duct systems to spec.
- Piping & Components: Refrigeration lines, condensate drains, venting, and system components.
- Equipment Placement: Set and level indoor/outdoor units.
- Commissioning: Complete start‑up procedures and verify performance.
- Preparation: Read job specs, installation notes, and OEM manuals; verify equipment and materials before starting.
- Code & Standards: Meet Massachusetts mechanical code and manufacturer specifications.
- Site Care: Keep a clean, organized job site and protect customer property with floor coverings and protective materials.
- Quality & Safety: Follow OSHA and company safety protocols; conduct final checks and resolve issues before leaving.
- Introduce yourself professionally and explain the install process.
- Answer basic operational questions.
- Walk the customer through thermostat use and system functionality post‑install.
- Represent the company with professionalism and respect.
- Complete all install documentation accurately with required photos.
- Communicate progress and issues with the installation manager or operations team.
- Submit job notes and paperwork by day’s end.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and installation equipment.
- Handle and store tools/materials properly.
- Report vehicle/tool maintenance needs to management.
- Minimum [Insert Years] years of HVAC installation experience.
- Background in residential HVAC installations.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Install and configure heating and cooling equipment.
- Read wiring diagrams and installation manuals.
- Understand ductwork installation and airflow fundamentals.

- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal preferred).
- Massachusetts refrigeration license or relevant certification preferred, not required.
- Additional HVAC certifications welcomed.

- Lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
- Climb ladders and work at heights.
- Work in confined spaces.
- Tolerate hot, cold, and changing weather.
- Sustain physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
