Northeast Distribution LTD – Exeter, NH
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
Northeast Distribution LTD is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team in Exeter. In this key role, you will serve as the primary link between our customers and internal operations; ensuring accuracy, follow-through, and a consistently high level of service.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, building long-term customer relationships, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced distribution environment. You’ll partner closely with sales representatives and internal teams to make sure every order is handled correctly and every customer feels supported.
What You’ll Do
- Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, delivering professional, high-touch service experience.
- Order Management: Accurately enter and manage daily sales orders using our proprietary software.
- Project Coordination: Serve as the liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure timely, accurate fulfillment of customer needs.
- Sales Support: Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with sales representatives to support closing additional business.
- Operational Oversight: Review daily reports, monitor order status, and proactively follow up to prevent delays or issues.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in Account Management or high-level customer support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook required) and the ability to learn new order-entry systems.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Attention to Detail: A strong “checks and balances” mindset—you catch small issues before they become big ones.
- Organization & Problem-Solving: Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying calm, accurate, and customer focused.
- Bonus: Experience in the Hearth Industry is a plus, but not required.
