POSITION SUMMARY: Provide assistance in the management and oversight for a portfolio of performing and non-performing bank assets with the objective of maximizing returns and minimizing losses within the portfolio.

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide assistance in the management and oversight for a portfolio of performing and non-performing bank assets with the objective of maximizing returns and minimizing losses within the portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist senior asset managers in the development and implementation of the management strategies and strategic objectives.
- Asset management for purchased and originated loans, which will include providing recommendations to senior management and investment partners to maximize income and reduce loss, restructuring credit and repayment terms, developing strategies to better secure collateral, collecting and monitoring monthly payments, as well as taxes and insurance, working with borrowers to obtain financial information and preparing written in-depth analysis and recommendations to protect and strengthen the investment.
- Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations required by the Company.
- Maintain portfolio files in accordance with both the Bank’s regulatory agency’s requirements as well as the SBA.
- Recommend and implement action strategies concerning non-performing assets to upper management by working with borrowers and in house and outside counsel.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Some experience with commercial lending and/or financial analysis
- Formal bank credit training a plus
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20lbs.
- Consistently operates a computer and other office equipment such as calculator, copy machine and printers.
- Climate controlled general office setting with moderate noise level.
- Must express or exchange ideas with co-workers, customers and vendors.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
