What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard position at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center Health System?
Protects life and property of all persons on hospital premises, hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft and vandalism. Is required to carry out the duties and functions assigned to him or her without direct supervision. Is responsible to be consistent with the goals and objectives of the Security Department and hospital policies.
Patrols and performs surveillance of campus and hospital premises.
Responds to calls for assistance.
Provides support or assistance with patients.
Assures fixed security stations are manned at all times.
Maintains all assets in an Operational Readiness status.
HS diploma or GED is required.
Prefer two years previous experience in security/law enforcement. Valid Alabama drivers' license, acceptable driving record.
Employment Type: full-time Shift: days Hours: 7a-7p/every other weekend
