Aircraft Deicing

JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Remove contaminants on the aircraft in a safe, efficient, and timely manner in accordance with industry standards
- Daily equipment checks
- Ensure proper fluid mixture ratio and quantities in trucks
- Operate large deicing equipment in inclement weather (snow, ice, freezing rain, etc.)
- Work to be performed in raised bucket for extended periods of time
- Some documentation and record keeping required
- Work as a TEAM
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must reside in Maine and be able to commute to Portland area
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written in the English Language
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
- Possess a valid and current Driver’s License
- Customer focused
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to take direction and possess problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Physical activity requires walking, climbing, bending, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and stooping
