QUALIFICATIONS: Job Summary The Student Services Assistant serves as the
first point of contact for students, staff, and community members,
providing support through phone, virtual platforms, and in-person
interactions. This role is responsible for greeting visitors, assisting
with admissions, registration, and financial aid referrals, and
supporting processes like document collection, cashiering, and exam
Proctoring. Additional Responsibilities Include Managing General Office
tasks, maintaining accurate records, troubleshooting basic technology
issues, and facilitating class operations. Hours: Wausau Campus
Position: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday evenings
(until 6 PM) and Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on a rotational basis.
Regional Campuses Position: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday,
7:30 AM to12:00 PM; occasional Saturday hours. Essential Functions and
Responsibilities Position may support projects across Student Services
and other areas of the College to advance institutional goals and
student success. While the regular schedule follows standard business
hours, flexibility is required for occasional evening, weekend, or
travel to other locations based on college events or operational needs.
General Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact, providing
excellent customer service via phone, email, or in person. Assist with
general office tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing data
entry, and maintaining student correspondence. Support special projects,
community events, and campus initiatives. Guide students on processes
