Role Description
We are building the broad experience of our teaching pool! This is a part-time on-site role for an Electrical Instructor - Adjunct, located in just 30 minutes north of Orlando in DeLand Florida. The instructor will deliver hands-on, engaging instruction in electrical safety, maintenance, and electricity every four weeks. Responsibilities will include conducting training sessions, evaluating student progress, and ensuring adherence to best practices in educational delivery and safety protocols. The role also involves mentoring students to achieve academic and career success.
Qualifications
- Specialized training and industry certifications in the Electrical Trades and applications are required.
- Journeyman License and/or Electrical Contractors License. and/or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years of teaching experience preferred or training an apprentice.
- NCCER Certification as an Electrician is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Previous teaching or instructional experience preferred.
- Certification or licensure in electrical fields and/or relevant industry experience is highly desirable.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Education, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
