What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychotherapist in Private Practice position at Northampton Center For Couples Therapy?
At NCCT, we are a forward-thinking, specialized group of couples therapists committed to excellence, cultural competence, and the ongoing evolution of our field. Our approach integrates leading state-dependent models of therapy, rooted in the science of connection and emotional regulation.
We offer a range of services—including weekly 75-minute sessions, private intensive retreats, workshops, and classes—both online and in person. We work hard to understand the wide-ranging and dynamic nature of relational well-being and bring that depth to every client interaction.
Qualifications
MA-level, licensed mental health clinician (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)
Clinical experience with couples or family systems (preferred)
Ability to work evenings and/or weekends, with a minimum commitment of 18 hours per week
Commitment to weekly group supervision and consultation
Completion of Gottman Level I and II Training upon hire (provided by NCCT)
Strong commitment to lifelong learning, collaboration, and professional growth
Experience working with ethnically, culturally, and racially diverse clients
Competence with online platforms (Zoom, EHR, Google Workspace, Slack)
