Position Summary:
The role for our Medical Scribes is to work closely with our clinical staff and medical providers to ensure an accurate and complete medical record for each patient. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Consistently monitor provider schedules to notify provider when patient is ready to be seen
- Accompany provider into exam room and remain for duration of visit to assist provider with any and all needed documentation in EMR
- Use appropriate spelling and grammar to maintain clear and accurate legal medical record documentation
- Assist provider with other tasks to facilitate patient needs and care
- Assist with work ups when needed or when directed by Clinical Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, technical)
- 1 year experience with computers and technology
- 1 year experience with medical terminology (required)
- Previous Medical Scribe experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.25 - $22.00 per hour
