Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Temporary Human Resources Generalist, located in West Covina, CA. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for managing and implementing HR policies, providing support to Team Members and leadership, and overseeing Team Member benefits and benefits administration. Daily tasks will include maintaining Team Member records, addressing Team Member inquiries, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws. Additionally, the HR Generalist will play a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting the organization’s mission to provide high-quality career education.
Qualifications
- Experience in Human Resources (HR) and knowledge of HR Management practices
- Understanding and implementation of HR Policies and compliance with labor laws
- Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus
