Summary
NTTA has several internship opportunities at their Corporate Headquarters in Plano, Texas. The internship program is designed to allow interns to gain valuable skills through hands-on experience of the day-to-day operations of a successful toll road entity.
The purpose of the position is to execute audit assignments throughout the Authority and third parties. Assist in providing recommendations that improve internal controls, add value and/or create greater efficiencies with respect to operations, compliance, reporting, etc. This team member will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing activities that support the overall audit function. Performs related work as required.
This team member will be assisting with audits and special projects by participating in planning, walkthroughs, note taking, discovery, document requests, testing, and reporting. They will be assigned their own meetings to run and test sections to test. They will also be assigned as the primary project manager for their own internship project where they will be the primary in charge and lead for completion. Additionally, they will be expected to provide assistance to the data analytics team as required for tasks such as data manipulation, population verification, statistical analysis, root cause identification, and sampling.
Pay Rate: $18.00/hourly
The 12-week (Monday, May 18th, 2026, to Friday, August 7th, 2026)
Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the United States immediately. This position is not available for F-1 visa.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled or completion of junior or senior year towards an undergraduate/graduate degree in the financial, accounting, internal audit, or data analytics fields.
- GPA of 2.5.
- Possess excellent research and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong communication, organizational and technical skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Fast learner and team player with a willing to learn attitude, that is adaptive and receptive to various duties and assignments.
