We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee construction schedule coordination using project management software
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to verify compliance with electrical building codes and NFPA 70 standards.
- Manage project contracts, permits, and regulatory compliance during the permitting phase involving local authorities.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project flow.
- Monitor project costs through detailed cost management practices such as HeavyBid estimates and construction estimating techniques.
- Ensure all electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and NFPA 70 requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, system design, and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with project management software including Microsoft Office, ProCore, Bluebeam, and Project scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with construction estimating, cost management, project scheduling, and contract management processes.
- Deep understanding of electrical building codes such as NEC and NFPA 70 compliance standards.
- Experience with construction site supervision, safety protocols, and managing teams on-site.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders at all levels.
