Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Investigations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, offering guidance to managers and employees.
- Conduct thorough, timely, and well-documented workplace investigations, including complaints, grievances, and policy violations.
- Provide recommendations and corrective action guidance in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Advise leaders on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Participate in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Support onboarding and integration processes to ensure a positive new-hire experience.
- Assist employees and managers with workplace injury reporting and return-to-work processes.
- Manage leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, personal leaves, etc.) in coordination with internal teams and third-party administrators.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal leave laws.
- Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, career development, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to recommend solutions and build organizational capability.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
- Partner with leadership to support a culture aligned with company values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 to 5 years of HR Business Partner experience, or progressively responsible HR experience with HRBP-related responsibilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in employee relations, workplace investigations, and grievance handling.
- Experience with talent acquisition, including sourcing and interviewing candidates.
- Experience managing employee injuries, including workers’ compensation processes.
- Experience administering leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, state-specific leaves).
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build strong partnerships and influence without authority.Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
- Experience in a multi-location or fast-paced environment.
