What are the responsibilities and job description for the Liquor Control Investigator Trainee - SR-14 position at North Slope Borough?
Serves as a trainee receiving orientation and training in the principles and practices, methods, and techniques of inspection and investigation relative to the issuance, transfer, and renewal of liquor licenses and permits and/or the enforcement of the liquor laws and regulations in the County of Hawai`i; and performs other related duties as assigned.
There is one (1) immediate permanent full-time vacancy with the Department of Liquor Control - Enforcement Division in Kailua-Kona. May be eligible to receive a $5,000 Recruitment Incentive. Conditions apply.
(Appointment may be made at any rate within the salary range advertised above at which appropriate qualified applicants can be recruited. Starting salary will be based on the qualifications of the person selected.)
The eligible list may be used for other permanent and temporary vacancies as they arise during the life of the list. Temporary appointment may lead to conversion to permanent appointment.
Must be able to work rotating shifts that include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must have a well maintained vehicle for use for travel to licensed liquor establishments in an assigned geographical area.
