Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Danvers, MA, for a Real Estate Instructor at North Shore Community College. The Real Estate Instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering course content for real estate education programs, preparing lesson plans, providing instructional support to students, and assessing student performance. Additional responsibilities include staying up-to-date with real estate industry trends and ensuring class materials comply with state licensing requirements. The instructor will collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and serve as a resource for students pursuing real estate careers.
Qualifications
- Expertise in real estate principles, law, practices, and the current state licensing requirements
- Strong teaching, curriculum development, and instructional design skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse adult learners
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and virtual learning platforms
- Flexibility and a collaborative approach to contributing to academic programs
- Current real estate license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain one prior to teaching
- Previous teaching or mentorship experience in real estate or a related field is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred
