Varsity Boys’ Basketball Head Coach

Position Summary:
North Putnam High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Varsity Boys Basketball Coach to lead our boys’ basketball program. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the North Putnam boys’ basketball program, including the high school, middle school, and youth programs. This position also entails selecting coaching staffs at all levels of the boys’ basketball program.
Qualifications:
- Prior basketball coaching experience is preferred
- Indiana teaching license is advantageous
- Commitment to excellence for entire program
- High level of character
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the North Putnam Community Schools Boys’ Basketball program at all levels
- Lead and mentor coaching staff across high school, middle school, and youth programs
- Collaborate with the Athletic Director in selecting coaching members for all levels of the program
- Model leadership, sportsmanship, and appropriate behavior to student-athletes
- Support and attend other school functions to demonstrate solidarity with all NPHS programs
Qualities/Abilities:
- Leadership: Must demonstrate strong leadership skills both on and off the court
- Role Model: Lead by example and impart valuable life lessons to student-athletes
- Supportive: Show unwavering support for all North Putnam Community Schools programs
