Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach

Position Overview
Southmont High School is seeking a Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach to lead and develop the entire boys' basketball program. The coach will oversee varsity operations and support the development of athletes throughout all levels of the program.
Current Full Time Teaching Openings:
Junior High PCC (Preparing for College and Careers)
Junior High Special Education Teacher
Elementary Teacher
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the Varsity Boys Basketball Team
- Develop and implement game plans, strategies, and practice plans
- Coordinate off-season workouts and summer development programs
- Work with junior high and youth programs to build long-term player development
- Foster a positive team culture emphasizing academics, sportsmanship, and character
- Communicate professionally with players, parents, administrators, and coaching staff
Qualifications
- Proven basketball coaching experience at multiple levels
- Knowledge of all aspects of running a successful high school basketball program
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to manage and coordinate program-wide development (Varsity ? Youth)
