What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):
- Help create an outstanding guest experience by keeping the property safe, functional, and well-maintained
- Follow guest room preventive maintenance checklists
- Complete room maintenance and ensure spaces are left clean, safe, and free of debris
- Perform basic repairs including:
- Replacing light fixtures
- Grout and caulking repairs
- Tightening loose fixtures and toilet seats
- Minor plumbing and electrical repairs
- Painting and wall touch-ups
- Interact with guests and respond to maintenance needs promptly and professionally
- Immediately report safety concerns or significant maintenance issues to management
- Meet all quality assurance standards and expectations
What we’re looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in general repair such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and maintaining mechanical equipment
- Pool certification is a plus
- Professional, courteous demeanor
- A can-do attitude and passion for guest service
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond in a friendly, helpful way
- A consistently caring and respectful approach
- A gracious host mindset—for guests, vendors, and future teammates
