Job Description
The Branch Executive oversees the total operation of a YMCA branch with over $3.5 million in revenue.
The Branch Executive is responsible for driving growth and excellence across all aspects of the Lansdale Area Family YMCA such as membership, youth development, sports & wellness, marketing, programs, facilities, financial development, and community partnerships.
The Lansdale Area Family YMCA is located on the campus of North Penn Commons in Lansdale, PA. North Penn Commons is a vibrant public center for every generation to live, learn, volunteer and thrive together – socially, physically, intellectually and spiritually. It is a partnership between four highly respected nonprofit organizations, the North Penn YMCA being one of the founding members. It creates a vibrant public center dedicated to celebrating the dignity of every member of our community.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in human services, social services, business or related field preferred
- Requires a minimum of 6 years’ experience with skills in program development, financial development, facility management, community development and membership service preferably in a YMCA or other not-for-profit agency.
- Ability to direct total operations through volunteer development, supervision of staff and monitoring of budget, marketing and public relations and program development.
- Experience in management and development of volunteer involvement; ability to recruit top community leaders.
- Effective Communication Skills including written, verbal and presentation required
- Must have strong collaborative work ethic
- Ability to interact with people of all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles
Essential Functions
- Ensure effective development and utilization of employees through hiring, motivating, training, and establishing and monitoring performance of department heads.
- Prepares and is accountable for the branch operating budget and meets or exceeds budgeted goals.
- Directs efforts to meet board approved Strategic Plan and develop the annual operating plan of the branch.
- Develops and directs high-quality member engagement strategies and programs that support branch and Association mission, goals and strategies.
- Ensure the safety and maintenance of high-quality facilities, grounds and equipment.
- Interpret the objectives, activities and programs of the Branch to the community through written materials, use of the media and participating in community affairs.
- Assist with Association Annual Campaign fundraising including coordination, leadership, attainment of goals, recruiting volunteers with full knowledge of charitable YMCA programs, values and services provided to the community
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, and joining & participating in outside organizations/committees.
- Perform any other functions as requested for the smooth and efficient operation of the North Penn YMCA Association
Required Certifications: YMCA Multi-team/Branch Leader Certification preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
