Responsibilities

• Lead food preparation and cooking processes to deliver high-quality dishes consistent with menu standards.
• Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a motivated team environment.
• Manage inventory control and food production to minimize waste while ensuring ingredient availability for daily operations.
• Oversee food safety protocols, including sanitizing procedures, proper food handling, and adherence to health regulations.
• Plan menus in collaboration with management, incorporating dietary restrictions and catering requirements.
• Coordinate shift management and ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards at all times.

Requirements

• Proven culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments.
• Demonstrated supervising experience with team management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling, and kitchen management practices.
• Experience in banquet services, event catering, or large-scale food production is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with inventory management, cost control measures, and food service management systems.
• Ability to lead by example in cooking techniques, food presentation, and customer service standards.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
