About the Role:
North Orange Veterinary Clinic is a growing and privately owned veterinary hospital in Fallbrook California. We are looking to add additional people to our growing team. We are looking for a licensed technician with some experience. We are looking for both full and part time. We have medical benefits, Continuing education funds and competing wages. We are seeking a self-starter who is flexible, reliable, and dependable. We are currently open Monday – Friday with no weekends, Holidays or overnights needed. Job duties may include medication administration, anesthesia administration and monitoring, post-surgical care, using the in-house laboratory, radiography, dentistry, Catheter placement, venipuncture, and sample collection.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work and radiographs.
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgeries.
- Catheter placement, Venipuncture and cystocentesis experience
- Educate pet owners on health, nutrition, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient files.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in the clinic.
- Provide compassionate care and support to pets and their owners.
Requirements:
- Valid California RVT license required.
- Some experience in a veterinary setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Proficient in using veterinary software and technology.
- Compassionate and dedicated to animal care.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
