CERTIFIED NURSE PRACTITIONER/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Prefer candidates with 1 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Individual MUST have strong work ethic, friendly professional demeanor (including appearance), and strong communication skills. In addition, must be a fast learner, flexible, punctual, and dependable and a team player.

DESCRIPTION:
- Provide direct patient care.
- Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
- Perform physical examinations under the direction of a physician.
- Assists physicians in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
- Orders, schedules, and interprets laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to implement appropriate patient care plans.
- Educates patient on health habits, behavior management, need for follow-up assessments/treatments, medication and other issues related to endocrine medical or health problems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Certified as a Physician's Assistant.
- Experience in a physician office setting or extensive diabetes experience required.
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia.
- Bilingual in Korean/English highly preferred.
