Responsibilities- Prepare daily meals and snacks according to established manus, recipes, and resident dietary requirements.
- Ensure melas are nutritious, flavorful, and visually appealing.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures, maintaining a clean an organized kitchen.
- Assist with menu planning, including accommodating special diets
- Monitor food inventory and work with Management on procurement.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Previous experience in cooking in healthcare preferred.
- CBRF Certifications preferred.
- ServSafe Certifications preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards seniors.
- Ability to follow recipes and accurately manage portion control.
- Ability to lift and move safely as required.
- Understand and practice standard precautions at all times.
- Availability to work 1st shift hours (7am - 6pm), including every other weekend and holiday.
- Must pass background check.
