About This Position
Provides advanced life support care to the sick and injured and safely transports customers of all ages to a medical facility. In addition, the paramedic assists with other services and events as directed by North Memorial Ambulance Service.

Salary Range: Medical Transportation Paramedic Metro ($32.96 - $48.93), based on experience
Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.

Requirements
Education
- Successfully completed paramedic training program from an accredited institution required.
- Associate of Science degree preferred.
Experience
- Previous ambulance experience preferred.
- Previous advanced life support experience preferred.
- For Air Care Paramedics, three (3) years of ALS experience as a Paramedic required.
- For Air Care Paramedics, prior flight experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, problem solve, make decisions during emergency situations and work independently.
- Possess or quickly acquire knowledge of the street and highway system within the service area.
Ground Paramedic Requirements
- Current Minnesota or Wisconsin Paramedic Certification or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date.
- American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification or Amercian Red Cross ALS and BLS Certification upon hire or within 14 days.
- Valid State Class D driver's license in the state of residency with an acceptable driving record.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS Certification.
- ICS-100, ICS-200 and ICS-700 or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date. NMHC Standard
