Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a School Nurse (RN), located in Belfair, OH. The School Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive health services to students, assessing and addressing individual health concerns, and developing care plans. Responsibilities include administering medications, conducting health screenings, maintaining detailed health records, and promoting infection control measures. Qualifications
- Hold and maintain a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
- Experience with administering first aid, managing chronic health conditions, and providing emergency care.
- Strong skills in documentation, health record management, and coordination of care plans.
- Proficiency in health education, communication with students, parents, and staff, and promoting wellness initiatives.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and public health guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and independently as needed.
- Previous experience in school-based health care or pediatric nursing is a plus.
