NOW HIRING OPENING TEAM FOR AUGUST!
We're opening an exciting new neighborhood bar featuring handcrafted New Haven-style pizza, elevated bar food, and a fast paced, team-oriented kitchen. We're looking for dependable, hardworking cooks who take pride in quality food, work well under pressure, and enjoy being part of a positive team. As a Pizza/Line Cook you'll prepare our signature pizzas while also working other stations throughout the kitchen. This position is ideal for someone with pizza experience who is also comfortable on a busy line and enjoys variety in their day.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook New Haven-style pizzas to chefs standards
- Stretch, top, and bake pizzas consistently during high-volume service
- work multiple stations including fry, saute, grill, and pantry as needed
- Prep ingredients and mantain proper food quality throughout each shift
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
- keep a clean, organized, and sanitary work station
- Rotate and label food according to food saftey standards
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Communicate effectivley with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
Experience
- Previous pizza making experience preferred
- Line Cook experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Nights, weekends, and some holidays required
