Job description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Setup, program, and operate the 3-axis CNC machines
- Quality checking machined parts, calculating dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Read prints and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
- Shift Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Shift, 6a-630p, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Additional Weekend Shift Premium pay
Qualifications and Skills
- CNC programming/operating experience,
- Fluent WorkNC Experience as well as CAM Software is preferred
- Experience with FANUC and or Milltronics controls is preferred
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
- Must possess strong work values; Dependability, honesty, self-confidence and a positive attitude, open-minded, willing to learn new techniques
- A minimum of 2 years of 3/5-axis experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required'
